Information snapshot collects

• Email address - an email is required when signing up for a snaphot account.
• Website content that you choose to save to snapshot using the snapshot browser extension.

How snapshot uses information

• Your email address is only used to facilitate your snapshot account.
• Web content that you choose to save to your snapshot account is used to provide the snapshot service to you, for example searching and viewing your saved web bookmarks, images and articles.

What information does snapshot share?

Snapshot does not share or sell your email address or your snapshot data. Snapshot does not share or sell any of your data.

Data protection

Your data is stored in the cloud using Firebase hosting services. It is encrypted in transit using HTTPS and also at rest.

Third party services

Snapshot uses Firebase for web hosting, databases, file storage, user account storage and authentication services. Firebase's key security and privacy information can be viewed at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

Your data is portable

You can export all your saved snapshots and notes from the snapshot web app. This allows you to easily move your snapshots to other software and to maintain ownership of your snapshots should you choose to close your account.

You can delete your snapshot account at any time

You can delete your snapshot account at anytime using the delete account button in the snapshot web app. When you delete your account, your snapshots data and your snapshot user account are immediately deleted and are not recoverable. Please ensure you have exported any snapshots you want to keep before deleting your account.
